The field at halftime during the lightning
It was a beautiful night . . . blue skies, an awesome crowd and the Cougs were ready to take on Colorado College! Jessica Ringwood scored in the first half off an awesome assist from Carlee Holmoe! The rain clouds were moving in fast about a minute before halftime, and the rains came pounding down right at the whistle. The crowd had to evacuate because the lighting was to close, and they all took cover in the fieldhouse. After the rains came down and the wind blew, it was all clear for the second half!
The Cougs came out fired up and they were flying all over the field. Jaiden ripped a shot that snuck by the keeper to make it 2-0. The Cougs had more chances and would end the game with a 2-0 victory over Colorado College.

Make sure to come to the game next Thursday, September 6th and watch the Cougs take on Texas! It should be a great game! Kick off is set for 7 PM!! Come early, we had s a ton of fans
